Timeline

  • May 7, 1990 Newsweek magazine published an article entitled ”A Simpler Way to Save Lives: Could a New Medication from China Change the World's Approach to Treating Burn Injuries?"
  • In 1990 CNN reported on Dr. Xu and his treatment of burn patients
  • In the summer of 1990 there was a gas explosion in Bangkok, Thailand, injuring a large number of people. Dr. Xu was sent by the Chinese government to assist the Thai government in the treatment of the burn patients, and successfully used MEBT/MEBO to treat many patients without disablement and minimum scarring. 
  • In 1993 Mr. Harry J. Gaynor, President of National Burn Victim Foundation of the U.S., presented the 6th Humanitarian Award to Dr. Xu in Beijing.
  • In 1995 Dr. Xu received China's Award for Scientific and Technological Innovations Made by Young Scientists, and MEBO/MEBT was selected by the government to be one of the top 100 important achievements of science and technologies to be promoted nationwide.
  • In 2004 Karger Publishers (Switzerland) published Dr. Xu's book in English entitled "Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy" which highlighted the clinical results achieved by using MEBO/MEBT to regenerate skin, connective tissues, hair follicles, nerves and other skin appendages, and acclaimed Dr. Xu's approach and the clinical achievements to be "revolutionary and amazing."
  • In 2004 Dr. Xu was elected to be one of China's top 10 talents in science and technology.
  • In 2009, the first issue was published of Human Body Regenerative Restoration Science, which marked the birth of Human Body Regenerative Restoration in China.
  • In 2012 the flagship of MEBO Gastrointestinal health care center was founded as the first national health care center specialized in gastrointestinal care in San Li Tun in Beijing.
